The project will help develop and maintain our network of foreign companies and schools. New partners will include Coleshill Organics, an organic market garden in Great Britain; Tricase Port in Italy; Handverksskolen, a school of traditional construction in Norway; and Litorina educational centre in Sweden.
The project will focus on high-quality practical training in companies, which is very important for learning outcomes and professional qualification.
Practical training in actual settings is pivotal for students. The opportunity to work abroad in foreign culture and language settings provides a challenge for each participant as well as an opportunity for both personal and professional development.
The lead teachers will make use of the knowledge and skills they acquire in teaching the courses of floristry, gardening and landscaping.
Jane Üksik, the head of continuing vocational training, will make use of the new knowledge and skills in managing vocational training processes as well as in developing and marketing training packages for courses conducted at Suuremõisa manor house.
Our school hosts the architect and conservator Lenko Grigorev from Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust in spring 2019.
